Rafael Echevarne is Director of Economics and Program Development at ACI World Headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
Previously he occupied positions in companies in Europe, Australasia and the Middle East, including: Ferrovial, Copenhagen Airports, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Infratil and Airways Corporation of New Zealand. He has been actively involved in air transport economic regulation, privatisation and development of aeronautical infrastructure, covering the fields of airports, airlines and air traffic control.
Rafael holds a PhD in Air Transport Economics from Cranfield University (UK) and a Masters in Transport from Westminster University (UK). Rafael also lectures in a number of postgraduate aviation programmes.
