Melisa Monje assumed the role of Global Training Manager with Airports Council International in October 2011. She is responsible for the operational management and delivery of quality training solutions for ACI’s worldwide membership. ACI’s membership consists of 1,751 airports, operating in 174 countries and territories and representing 95 percent of global airport traffic.

Melisa’s aviation career began in 2008 at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a Training Coordinator. During this time, she was in charge of overseeing the coordination and planning of over 40 courses in the areas of Airline Safety, Airline Security, Cargo, Dangerous Goods and Customer Service to name a few. During this period she engaged with host training centres, organizing instructor travel arrangements and establishing contact with local coordinators as well as managing all logistics for any given course.

Melisa holds a Bachelor of Political Science, as well as a Project Management Certificate from McGill University and an International Business Development Certificate from HEC Business School, both of which are located in Montréal, Canada.
