Position title: Assistant Manager, Marketing
Reports to: Manager, Marketing

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

I. Area of Responsibility

The Assistant Marketing Manager will contribute to the development and to leading the execution of various marketing initiatives for the organization’s Programmes and Services. The Assistant Manager will participate in further developing brand awareness through various tools.

II. Major Duties and Accountabilities:

• Oversee the planning and implementation of marketing programmes and initiatives
• Support the development and execution of channel marketing plans to increase the awareness of the organization’s Programmes and Services and the ACI World brand
• Assist in the development of pricing and promotion strategies by analyzing and benchmarking industry and non-industry players
• Create necessary reports on ROI and key performance metrics linked to specific initiatives
• Provide support for brand positioning and awareness
• Monitor and track expenditures relating to marketing initiatives in relation to the budget
• Track progress of various projects, campaigns and results with the Marketing Manager and other ACI World departments
• Contribute to the creation of the content management strategy for ACI World website, blog and social media platforms
• Serve as liaison between ACI World and various external vendors, agencies or media suppliers
• Other duties as assigned

III. Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with specialization in marketing or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in international markets and cultures
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; Fluency in French (strong asset)
• Proven track-record of delivering successful marketing campaigns
• Experience in product and/or brand management
• Excellent problem solving and project management skills; PMP designation is considered an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Superior organizational skills to carry out and prioritize multiple tasks and resources
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools would be an asset (i.e. Pardot, Marketo, etc.)
• Teamwork skills, but with ability to work independently and assume full responsibility for assigned tasks
