The ACI Global Safety Network Diploma Programme consists of six specialized courses on airport safety, and is specifically designed to meet the needs of airside operations and safety managers, including developing, implementing and operating effective Safety Management Systems at their airports.
Airport management, as a profession, has been faced with growing pressure to establish ways and means of promoting its credibility and ensuring an appropriate degree of standardisation of related expertise globally. ACI and ICAO established a formal partnership to provide accessible, affordable and universally available specialised management training to the global airports community.
Airport Excellence (APEX) in Safety Programme provides assistance for ACI members to improve their level of safety and compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices. Through a Safety Review performed on-site, the ACI Safety Review Team will identify safety gaps, as well as, draw an action/implementation plan for the Host Airport to address these vulnerabilities.
The ACI Developing Nations Airport Assistance Programme’s objective is to support member airports in developing countries. It will do so by aiding airport initiatives that are sustainable, have impact, and bring results to those airport members.
