This course provides airport managers with a broad overview of the airline industry. It focuses on raising participant awareness of the underlying marketing, financial, operational and competitive factors that influence airline viability.  Participants will investigate how the sensitivity of airline profitability impacts airline management decisions and analyze the principles of airline economics, costs and pricing.The course develops both passenger and cargo models, and assess the individual characteristics of low-cost carriers and business only airlines.
