Geneva – ACI member airports participating in the monthly PaxFlash and FreightFlash report that worldwide results for December 2006 as compared to December 2005 confirm the trend for strong international traffic growth (8 percent), whereas domestic freight growth registered a decline of 2 percent. This significant sample of airports indicate that for the year both worldwide passenger and freight traffic have risen by 4 percent in 2006, with strong international traffic growth (6 percent) compensating for sluggish overall domestic traffic performance (2 percent for passenger; 1 percent for freight). Traffic results from the reporting group of over 840 airports will be available in March 2007.

Geneva, 7 March 2007 – Airports worldwide report that in 2006 passenger traffic increased by five percent and cargo by four percent, as compared to 2005. International passenger and freight results rose even more firmly by seven and six percent respectively.

Geneva – Worldwide passenger and freight traffic rose respectively by 4 percent and 5 percent in November 2006. Excellent international results contributed to this solid growth, with both international passenger and freight traffic increasing by nearly 7 percent as compared to November 2005. More moderate increases were reported for domestic passenger traffic (up 3 percent) and domestic freight (up 2 percent). Year-to-date results for the past eleven months indicate that traffic rose by 4 percent for passenger and freight traffic.

GENEVA, 02 April 2007 – Airports worldwide report in this month’s PaxFlash and FreightFlash that February traffic relative to February 2006 increased by a robust 7 percent. On international routes traffic grew by a strong 9 percent, and on domestic passenger traffic increased by 6 percent.
