Montreal, 03 March 2011 – ACI member airports report total global passenger traffic growth of 7.1 percent in January 2011, with strong support from the international market (+7.8%) as well as good performance in the domestic sector (+6.5%).
MONTREAL, 15 February 2011― ACI is pleased to announce the recipients of the annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards for 2010, which recognize the commitment of airports worldwide to performance excellence.
Montreal, 7 February 2011 – ACI World Director General Angela Gittens welcomes Memphis International Airport1 as the 200th participant to join ACI’s worldwide Airport Service Quality programme. Sixty-four percent of airports worldwide that handle more than 10 million passengers per year now actively participate in the ASQ Survey programme to benchmark their customer service delivery performance. Total programme membership draws participants from all five ACI regions.
Montreal, 01 February 2011 – December passenger traffic rose by a moderate 4 percent relative to December 2009, yet despite the slower rate, world traffic finished at just over 6 percent growth for the year, according to the PaxFlash sample results.

Montreal, 05 January 2011 – Airport participants in the ACI PaxFlash and FreightFlash monthly traffic reporting exercise have indicated that passenger and freight traffic continued to rise in November 2010. Total passenger traffic increased by 6.9 percent compared to November 2009, with international traffic up by 8.1 percent and domestic by 6 percent. For the first eleven months of 2010, world passenger traffic increased by 6.5 percent, international traffic growing by 7.7 percent and domestic traffic by 5.5 percent.
