ACI Survey on Apron Incidents and Accidents

The apron safety surveys are designed to promote greater apron safety awareness among airport management, airlines and personnel, in conjunction with worldwide, regional and/or local apron safety campaigns and seminars.

The ultimate purpose of the surveys is to prevent apron incidents and accidents in future. Accidents cause injuries to persons, damage to aircraft and ground equipment, disruption to flight operations and heavy financial losses. This survey is designed to promote greater apron safety awareness among airport management, airlines and personnel, in conjunction with worldwide, regional and/or local apron safety campaigns and seminars.
