Global Safety Network (GSN) Diploma Programme

The ACI Global Safety Network (GSN) Diploma Programme consists of six specialized courses on airport safety, and is specifically designed to meet the needs of airside operations and safety managers, including developing, implementing and operating effective Safety Management Systems (SMS) at their airports.

Programme Structure

Each GSN course may be taken as a stand-alone professional certificate course or combined with the other GSN courses to achieve the ACI GSN Diploma.

In order to obtain the GSN Initial (Silver) Diploma a participant has to accomplish GSN courses 1-3 in any sequence, within a three-year timeframe.

In order to obtain the GSN Advanced (Gold) Diploma a participant has to accomplish the GSN courses 4-6 in any sequence within a three-year timeframe.  In addition, the participant must have also already obtained the GSN Initial Diploma as a pre-requisite to receive the GSN Advanced Diploma.

The courses are delivered by senior airport managers with extensive “real time” experience of operational procedures, SMS and airport certification. All classroom sessions make extensive use of pictures and films, to provide a compelling and relevant learning experience.

Procedure

Interested individuals must register for each course separately.

At the end of each module a certificate of attendance is presented.

All participants successfully completing all required GSN courses leading to a GSN Diploma will receive:

An email letter from ACI Global Training Director congratulating the accomplishment (approximately one week after completion).

A diploma signed by ACI Director General and Head, Global Training.

A GSN pin.
