The ACI Fund’s mission is to advance airport safety, security, management, economics, environment, sustainable development, and service excellence through targeted assistance and human resources development at member airports in developing nations.
In the least developed countries, financial resources for training can be limited, so the ACI Fund seeks to open the door to career development for individuals while, at the same time, building capacity and safeguarding and enhancing professional standards in this community of airports.
ACI Fund Governance
The ACI Fund is governed by its Council of nine dedicated aviation CEOs.
They volunteer their time to help advance the needs of airport members from developing and least developing nations.

Testimonials
"In December 2025, the ICAO EUR/NAT Regional Office observed two Airport Excellence (APEX) safety missions in Uzbekistan, organized by ACI World and ACI EUROPE with support from the ACI Fund. These missions were conducted under the innovative Country Strategic Plan of Action collaborative implementation program, designed to strengthen aviation safety in Uzbekistan.
I wish to sincerely thank the ACI Fund for making these missions possible, which delivered expert assessments, actionable recommendations, and strengthened local safety capacity, yielding tangible benefits for Uzbekistan’s rapidly evolving aviation system."

It was also an excellent opportunity to meet professionals from across Latin America, share experiences, and learn best practices. I am grateful for the opportunity as it helped improve knowledge and implement changes at my airport."

How can you help
The ACI Fund is raising funds to support this crucial work. The aviation ecosystem is strongest when it works together, and the ACI Fund needs help to break down the barriers that hinder its growth and reach.
We need to raise funds to cover the cost of facilitating training and access to essential industry programs like APEX to continue developing the knowledge and skills of airport professionals in developing countries.
